[Poem] As Winter Draws Near
The wind it sighs
A mournful cry
As the days of autumn dwindle
All along the pier
Winter creeps near
As mighty waves sway like timber
The squalls are a warning
Tis the last warm morning
The hours are dwindling for leisurely reservations
For the cold and the fury
Of winter brings much to worry
Her song a lullaby to commence hibernation.
